Saturday, January 17, 2004 02:25 ![]() Stefan and I had cheeseburgers at Martino snack express after the second session of the Loge workshop at the Gent University, where we discussed our plan for an auditorium that is permanently flooded. Martino was recommended to us by the locals as one of the Gent institutions a visitor shouldn't miss (true!). The place was very informal and looked fantastic. After we fisnihed eating my decision to take some photos got us into a fair but not totally pleasant discussion about the way I use my digital stuff in public – it then took us four hours and three trains till we were back in Amsterdam. link

Wednesday, January 14, 2004 12:13 Amsterdamprijs 2003 Gabriëlle, Aldje and I worked our asses off – along with Maartje, Desmond, Carla, Stefan, Renée and many friends – to put together a nice Amsterdamprijs ceremony (last Sunday). Efficient as usual, Kees Fopma put online his photos of the evening almost immediately. We are now recovering from the marathon. And we are happy. link

Friday, January 09, 2004 00:12 Old news, from the future ![]() A foto taken by Maartje Nevejan and her husband on new year's eve from the top of the TPG building, across from where I live. Amsterdam has never looked nicer, been nicer to me. It's been nine years since I got here. link
