20:10 Désolé.

What seems to be a true label stitched to a true American bag, found and posted by Atbash.net and pointed to me by Mary Kallese.

21:18 Now breeding
No wonder I post less and less: time is finite after all, and I did join Orkut a while ago, and Flicker before that (which I still like the most) and since a few minutes also Breedster, which is a truly amazing thing (thanks to Stewart for telling me about it, and to Telemarkskier for the egg/invite). Breedster is social software where activities are reduced to the delighful basics: move about - eat - defecate - fornicate. And it looks excellent. I'll start inviting as soon as I have eggs. Promise.

What you see below is a live update of my current physical status on Breedster, and is likely to change every few hours:

My Breedster profile

Initial growth is very exciting! Here's a description of the early stages, from the Breedster FAQ:
When you just created an account your egg hatches and you become a larva. To become a pupa you have to eat until you are full and wait until your energy level reaches 100%. Once your energy level is 100% you metamorphose into a pupa.
A pupa will slowly turn into an adult, this will cost energy. After being a pupa for 10 hours you turn into an adult.
Once you're an adult AND you have enough energy AND you successfully copulate with a member of a different gender (the nerve! humpf!) you produce eggs that serve as invitations to future members.

I, for instance, found out that my mommie happens to be Dutch. And she sent me a good night message. Héél raar.

10:53 Great street stuff: Urban Haute Couture, an archive of street art from Amsterdam, Berlin, Bucarest, Eindhoven and Hamburg (thanks to Capodistria, an aquaintance made in Flickr).

00:04 Lately
I've been having a great time reading William Gibson's Pattern Recognition, joining lively discussions on Flickr, looking for a new apartment and all the while enjoying Joe's company.

At the same time I am pissed off by my hayfever, which this year started two months earlier than usual. Bah.
